Courthouse Plaza Parking Garage (map)
Courthouse Monday run! Let's meet by the Courthouse Plaza garage entrance around 6:45pm and head out at 7pm. Plenty of good eats around Courthouse... we'll grab some food (or smoothies!) after the run if people are up for it!
Route:
We'll alternate between the following 2 routes. Both routes are hilly!
1) Courthouse to Custis Trail heading West (1st and 3rd Mondays)
Out and Back. Veitch St. to the Custis Trail; West toward Glebe Rd.

2) Courthouse to Georgetown Waterfront via Custis Trail (2nd and 4th Mondays)
Out and Back. Veitch St. to the Custis Trail; downhill to Key Bridge; over to the Georgetown Waterfront; east toward the Kennedy Center along the Rock Creek Park Trail. This route is downhill on the way out and uphill on the way back.

Pace:
All paces are welcome! We'll be doing an out and back route, so everyone will just turn around at the halfway time marker. That way we should all start and end at the same time.
Parking:
There's free parking at Courthouse Plaza. The underground garage is on Clarendon Blvd btwn Wayne and Veitch Sts (near Ray's the Steaks, Strayer/CVS and the AMC Theater). Here's a streetview link: http://tiny.cc/OmKZx.... You can probably also park at meters in the area for free.

Hi Jennie! I'd say the group pace is 8-11 min/miles on Mondays and Saturdays; 7-12 min/miles on Tues-Thurs. So, you're right there in the middle at a 10 min pace. Monday runs are hilly and Tues-Thurs runs are flat. Come on out! It's much easier running in a group!
