For the Marathoners: Let's meet at 7am in front of UPS truck #1 of bag check.
For those running the 10k: Let's meet at 7:20 at 13th Street and the National Mall (a block down from Madison Dr.) This is the map of the 10k start area: http://www.marinemara... See that white tent right in the middle? It's basically that intersection on the trail/sidewalk right on the top left of the tent.

Jeremy...I think it's only free for those runners that are representing the Semper Fi Fund.
If you guys know anyone who wants to take over for me please send me an email. No need to refund any money. I rather someone runs it then it goes to waste. I signed up for the 10K. Thanks
I was able to find someone for the run. Thanks for the responses. Good luck everyone.
I just bought my bib from craigslist for $50 (transfer is over tho) for the full marathon
Really wish I had signed up for the full marathon now! Anyone knows of anyone willing to part with their bib, or trade a full marathon bib for a 10k one?
This was the meeting spot last year for the 10k and it worked out (any ideas for the Marathon meeting spot? I'll be running the full!)
10k will meet here, at 7:20:

Have a good race.
I am not running but was going to watch if anyone wants to meet up we can meet by Lincoln at 8:30...let me know.
Erin, Karl will be spectating, but not sure of his plans yet. Let me know if you want to meet up with him (I think Kathy might try to meet him as well).
Hi - first time runner here, never run an official race in my life - running the Marine Corp 10k tomorrow morning - 2 questions - 1) what is the recommended way to attach the bib (with safety pins? what if you expect so shed a layer as you are running?), and 2) is the tracking chip in the bib, and do I need to hand it in when I'm finished with the race? Thanks - Bob
Bob, safety pin it to the layer you're keeping. There are bag checks (the bag you got), so you can always just check your upper layer and pick it up at the end of the race. The timing chip does not need to be handed in.
Bob I recommend you put the bib on your shorts if you plan to shed a layer after the start of the race.
D-day for many of you out there. From CA I wish y'all god luck n safe race.
Thanks for the tips! Also, they said my name as I crossed the finish line, but I didn't hear them say anyone else's name...why was I lucky? Is this random?
It is random & you are lucky. I've run tons of races and still haven't heard my name.
That was fun! The Marines always put a great race on. See you all at the Veteran's 10K!
GO Carla GO!!!
