Hey guys,
I'm planning some of the Wednesday runs now, and the old time was a tad early for me to make it after work, so note the 6:45pm starting time (only 15 minutes later).
Wednesday let's do a 50 minute run if you're training for a half marathon in March (Shamrock or National) and 60 minutes if you're training for a May full marathon (like the Flying Pigs).
Let's meet up at the Free Parking in Crystal City (in front of the entrance to the garage on 18 st, between the metro and Crystal Dr.). We'll head out on Mt. Vernon trail and when the trail splits, turn left and head North, towards DC. 25 minutes out (half) or 30 minutes (for a full), then turning back to where we started.
Join us even if you're not training for anything, or if you need to do a shorter run (at least you'll have company on your way up!). If you can't run the whole thing yet and need to run/walk, you're welcome to join us as well -- we're not an intimidating group, I promise!
Days are slowly starting to get longer, but we're just not there yet. Try to bring a headlamp and reflective gear, as it will be dark out there when we meet.
